1.       Similar to Internet Explorer, Ctrl + Tab keys will let you switch between the tabs by moving you from left to right.
2.       To move right to left add Shift key in the previous combination. It will become Ctrl + Shift + Tab key.
3.       To go to the specific tab, press Ctrl + N key combination.
4.       There is a difference between the shortcut keys of Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Chrome browser reduces the effort by creating Ctrl + Page up and Ctrl + Pad Down key combinations to move left or right.
Key Combination to Switch Tab on Mozilla Firefox
The key combinations in Mozilla Firefox are slightly different from Google Chrome, but all of these will perform in the same way. Mozilla has added some more unique key combinations in its Firefox web browser.
1.       Press Ctrl +Shift + Page Up buttons to move the currently opened tab to the left.

3.       To move the tab to either of the ends, press Ctrl + Home or Ctrl + End key combination. Both of two are responsible for moving the tab to the beginning and the end, respectively.
4.       Firefox allows the users to view the Tab Groups View. To open the Tab Groups View, you need to press Ctrl + Shift + E key combination.
